The Army Corps of Engineers has completed the NEPA process and Donlin Gold is preserving this EIS website for informational purposes. This site will remain unchanged and available to the public while this site is transferred to the possession of the State of Alaska.

The US Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) prepared a Final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to fully disclose impacts of the Donlin Gold project, which proposes to discharge into Waters to the US, requiring authorization under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and Section 10 of the River and Harbors Act of 1899. An EIS is not a regulatory decision document. It will be used by the Corps, along with other information in the permit application and public and agency comments, to inform the final decision on the permit application.

A Joint Record of Decision (JROD) was issued in August 2018 and is available here. If you have any questions that are not answered on the website, please contact us.
